PTFE crucibles are suitable for digesting samples with strong acids or alkalis. For example, in the analysis of metal elements in environmental samples, PTFE crucibles can be used to digest soil or water samples with a mixture of nitric acid and hydrofluoric acid to convert the metal elements in the samples into soluble forms for subsequent analysis.
In the determination of the ash content of organic samples, PTFE crucibles can be used to heat and ash the samples at high temperatures. The high temperature resistance and chemical stability of PTFE crucibles ensure that the crucibles will not be corroded during the ashing process, and the ash content of the samples can be accurately measured.
Ultra-Micro Spectrophotometer
Aurora-900 is a full-wavelength(190-850nm) ultra-micro ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometer that does not require a computer. It can quickly and accurately detect nucleic acids, proteins, and cell solutions. Additionally, it is equipped with a cuvette mode for measuring the concentration of bacterial cultures and other solutions.
For nucleic acid detection, the Aurora-900 requires only 0.5 to 2µL of sample per measurement. Simply place the sample directly onto the sample plate—no need for cuvettes or capillaries. After measurement, the sample can either be wiped off or recovered using a pipette. The entire process is simple, fast, and seamless.
